One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible is 3 John 1:2. "Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers." My desire is to be spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially fit. I want God to be pleased with every area of my life! Check out the scriptures below for more inspiration!
Honor God with your body
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[a] and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Honor God by taking your worries to Him through prayer
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Matthew 6:25-26
Seek God, not other things that bring you comfort.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33
Honor God with integrity.
He who walks with integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will become known. Proverbs 10:9
Honor God by the way you speak.
The mouth of the righteous is a well of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. Proverbs 10:11
Honor God with your finances
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you thewindows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10
